Associate-level Environmental/Planner

SE Group is currently seeking an experienced Associate-level Environmental Analyst/Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced office culture to join our team in the Frisco, Colorado office.

This position will be responsible for preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental documentation (EAs, EISs, etc.)—acting as both writer and editor of document sections. This position will coordinate with project managers, clients, agencies, and sub-consultants in preparing, researching, and evaluating project proposals and resource issues.

The successful applicant will have proven communication skills, along with a superior professional and academic record. A strong knowledge of environmental and public lands regulations, including NEPA, as well as a background in natural resource management, is essential to this position. Experience managing entire NEPA documents or portions of NEPA documents is required. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in biological or natural resources, environmental science/policy, or other related field and a minimum of 4 to 6 years NEPA experience. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferable. Experience in GIS analysis, ArcGIS, Microsoft Access and data management is desirable.

This is an associate-level position, with opportunities for career development and advancement. This is primarily an office position, but will require occasional travel and work outside. Salary is based on experience and skills. SE Group offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Staff-level Environmental/Planner

SE Group is currently seeking a highly-motivated and resourceful staff-level Environmental Analyst/Planner to join our team in the Frisco, Colorado office.

As part of the Environmental Services team, this person will work closely with project managers and staff while contributing to all facets of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental documentation process including, but not limited to: preparing scoping and public involvement materials; researching resource issues; reading and summarizing high-level scientific documents; and maintaining the project record. A significant portion of this position’s responsibilities involves writing and editing documents (scoping notices, EAs, EISs, etc.). This position will also provide support to our community and recreation planning team through writing, research and public involvement.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in biological or natural resources, environmental science/policy, planning or other related field. A Master’s degree in a similar field is preferable. One to two years of experience working on environmental or public lands regulations (NEPA), as well as a background in natural resource management, is required for this position. Part-time Administrative Assistant 

SE Group is seeking a versatile and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Frisco, Colorado office. This multi-faceted position will be responsible for office administration systems, as well as provide word processing and graphic design support for client projects, as well as marketing/business development efforts.

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated organizational agility in being able to work independently and proactively, manage multiple projects and deadlines, be sensitive to detail, remain flexible under pressure, and enjoy supporting a team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will have a desire to develop skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.

Applicants should hold at minimum an Associate’s degree, with Bachelor’s degree preferred, and have at least two to three years of prior experience in office administrative systems, preferably within the consultant arena. Proven written language and communication skills are essential for the successful candidate. Thorough working knowledge in Microsoft Office products is required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud platforms is preferred.

This is a part time position of 20 to 24 hours per week; schedule TBD upon hire. Salary is commensurate with experience and skills. Benefits package available.
