Project Description

More Projects

On the shores of Lake Champlain, the Burlington waterfront is one of the most active public spaces in Vermont. We continue to assist the City of Burlington in moving the concept master plan for the 121 acres of the downtown waterfront through a series of design and implementation projects. Building upon the original plan, our design work has responded to changes in public needs, ongoing private-public development projects and extensive coordination with diverse stakeholder groups. As a result of this collaborative process with project architects, transportation planners and civil engineers, new opportunities have been realized to enhance the pedestrian and recreational experience of the waterfront, as well as improve its connectivity to the downtown.

Work continues at present with the Moran Plant restoration and additional improvements to accessibility within the waterfront.
