SE Group worked with 4240 Architecture and Vail Development Corporation to provide site planning, permitting, and programming of the site and interior courtyard for the Ritz Carlton Residences, Vail.
The project consists of 71 residences which will be operated by Ritz Carlton. A portion of the project will also be operated by the Ritz Carlton Destination Club. The site design and finishes responds to the typical Vail aesthetics by incorporating indigenous stone and native plant materials. This approach facilitated a seamless integration of the new Bavarian style architecture with the surrounding development. The landscape design is a balance between urban forms and soft vegetative screening to define outdoor spaces. All of the landscaping in the pool area courtyard is designed as a green roof. Amenities include a custom outdoor pool and hot tub, outdoor dining, fire pit, water fountain, private patios and garden spaces set in a formal elegant design.
