Project Description

More Projects

Located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, the Marlera Golf/Istria Estate Country Club is poised to become the first world-class golf resort in Croatia. With its seaside location and incredible views, the project lands are highly regulated, creating unique challenges that we worked collaboratively with the design team to address.

Drawing upon the rich architecture and landscape traditions of the Istrian peninsula, the master plan features a five star resort hotel, 27 holes of championship golf, club house, tight clusters of village style townhomes and luxury seaside villas. The use of indigenous landscape elements and materials such as pergolas, stone walls and drought tolerant Mediterranean plant materials have created a strong sense of place and intimate relationship between outside and inside space.
