SE Group is seeking an Associate-level Mountain Planner to join our Salt Lake City office. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team of industry leaders that sets the standard for the design and planning of ski areas and mountain resorts around the world. One week you may be drafting chair lift designs for a resort in Alaska, the next the trail layout for an expansion in Utah, and another the specs for a base area in Vermont. This position will focus on assisting our project managers and team members with the analysis, planning, and design of ski area related development projects, and in the preparation of mountain resort master plans.
Key responsibilities include:
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years-experience working in a related professional field such as engineering, landscape architecture, or surveying.

We are currently operating in a combined remote and in-office work environment, and being able to meet and socialize in the same space is important to our team dynamic. Candidates that live (or can relocate) within reasonable driving distance of our Salt Lake City, UT office will be preferred. Being a passionate skier or snowboarder isn’t required, but certainly helps in understanding the complexities of designing mountain resorts.
