Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
In 1994 SE Group developed a comprehensive Master Plan for the future development of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). Since that time, SE Group has remained engaged in mountain planning and development projects at JHMR. With on-going planning involvement ranging from numerous updates to the Master Plan to site-specific plans for all on-mountain projects, SE Group has been involved with JHMR’s transition from a niche ski area that was primarily focused on expert skiers to an industry-leading family-friendly resort—culminating in recent #1 rankings and numerous record seasons.
Project Planning
SE Group has completed multiple National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analyses for JHMR in conjunction with the Bridger-Teton National Forest, including replacement of the iconic tram and guided backcountry skiing.
In collaboration with the JHMR team and Bull Stockwell Allen, SE Group’s mountain and resort planners undertook a strategic planning exercise evaluating the resort’s existing guest service facilities.
Balancing restaurant capacity and character with the various sections of the resort was a primary goal of the plan.
Numerous on-mountain lift and restaurant projects have been developed as a result.
