Omni Mount Washington at Bretton Woods
Bretton Woods Resort is New Hampshire’s largest ski area, encompassing 464 acres with skiing and snowboarding on 63 trails and 35 glades. Designed by SE Group in the early 70s, the mountain is now an intrinsic part of the larger Omni Mount Washington Resort, which also includes golf, a Nordic ski center, a variety of adventure activities from ziplines to scenic gondola rides, and the historic Mount Washington Hotel.
Project Planning
Omni Mount Washington Hotel
The Omni Mount Washington Hotel is one of the last surviving grand hotels in the White Mountains, built of wood and opened in 1902 to great acclaim. The Bretton Woods monetary conference took place at the hotel in 1944, establishing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The hotel was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
SE Group worked with Bull Stockwell Allen and Omni Hotels to usher in its next generation of greatness. Program elements include a new presidential wing with 68 luxury rooms, spa garden and a new rooftop terrace experience. The design of the new boutique wing is more contemporary but still reflects its connection to the historic hotel, preserving the iconic views of the hotel from Route 302 and of the majestic Mount Washington.
Rosebrook Lodge
The new on-mountain Rosebrook Lodge, now connected to the base of Bretton Woods via the new Skyway Gondola, provides best-in-class hospitality features to both skiers and lodging guests, and an unforgettable scenic experience for summer visitors.
SE Group is proud to be a part of a team that recently won Premier Hospitality Magazine‘s 2022 Hospitality Design Award for ‘Best Event Space’ for the Rosebrook Lodge at Omni Hotels & Resorts’ Bretton Woods ski area at Mt. Washington.
