Trails at Mena Project receives signed Special Use Permit

Trails at Mena project team at signing ceremony

Another big milestone for our Trails at Mena project! After years of hard work, a Special Use Permit has officially been signed to allow lift-served biking in the Ouachita National Forest just outside of Mena, Arkansas. We're proud to have led the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process on this transformative project and been part of a huge step forward for outdoor recreation in Arkansas.

SE Group team members Melanie McKenzie and Travis Beck were able to attend the signing ceremony in Mena (pictured above), representing the many SE Group team members and partners who’ve contributed to this effort. It’s been a long journey, and we’re incredibly excited for what's ahead!
