Northfield Ridge and River Routes Master Plan
SE Group collaborated with the Town of Northfield, Vermont to evaluate economic opportunities and connectivity within the town and its recreational assets. The project focused on increasing connectivity in four hamlets along the VT Route 12 corridor, exploring trail and recreational connectivity to Dog River and the surrounding town forest, and enhancing local placemaking to support economic development.
Project Planning
Through public engagement, SE Group gathered community input and created an action guidebook for implementation. A detailed implementation matrix was developed, addressing potential costs, rights-of-way issues, scoping steps, potential funding sources, and challenges. An interactive PDF document was used to communicate the plan to the public and local policymakers, and implementation options were adjusted to reflect their perspectives.
