SE Group Welcomes Michael van Eyck
SE Group is excited to announce that Michael van Eyck has joined the firm as a Senior Resort Analyst. Michael brings over 20 years of hands-on experience that spans all aspects of operations, including marketing, finance, strategic planning, and executive management. In his role with SE Group, Michael will utilize that experience to work with our resort clients – from small, family-owned mountains to complex multi-season destinations - to maximize their operational, planning, and financial outcomes.
Claire Humber, SE Group's Director of Resort Planning, welcomes Michael to our growing Strategic Business Analysis team. She adds, “Our strategic planning process focuses on optimizing the synergies between physical site conditions, market context, operational fundamentals and financial viability. Michael’s depth of ‘on-the-ground’ operational experience and background in finance and marketing is such a natural fit for our team!”
Michael began his career at Bromley Mountain in Vermont and, over time, ascended to an executive management position with The Fairbank Group, which owns and operates three resorts in New England. Joining SE Group marks a return to an industry he loves and a role he is passionate about. "I had worked with the team at SE Group during my time on the operations side of the ski business, so I knew how respected they were within the industry. When an opportunity arose to join them, I jumped at it and couldn't be happier.
